About Us

Greenspace Garden Design was formed in 2006 by Sue Sleeper after training for 3 years in Horticulture, Garden Design and Planting Design at Capel Manor College, Enfield.  Having also worked in nurseries and gardens Sue has developed a wealth of planting knowledge and can spot the right plant for the right place.

Sue Sleeper has now been creating designs for outdoor spaces of all sorts of shapes and sizes for more than 15 years. Sue’s approach to design comes from the heart.  Time is taken to absorb the space and its immediate surroundings, drawing on experience and creativity to bring out the best in whatever space she is working with.  Sue prides herself in developing good working relationships with her clients, ensuring their desires and preferences are catered for throughout the design process.  These working relationships are key to her multiple successful outcomes (many of which can be viewed on our Portfolio Page). 

Based in Chorleywood in Hertfordshire, but travelling wherever a garden takes her, Sue Sleeper’s designs have been providing beautiful outdoor spaces her clients can use and enjoy for years to come.
